- I currently teach English 2 CP, English 2 Honors ALA, AP Language and Composition, and AP Seminar.
- I am currently part of a team creating an Academic Leadership Academy (ALA) at CHS that integrates technology and leadership skills into an honors/AP curriculum within a selected cohort.
- I taught English 1 CP/Honors, English 2 Honors, English 3 Honors, and AP Literature and Composition.
- I taught Test Prep Verbal, Leadership, and Journalism I.
- I advised the school newspaper, The Claw, and the school yearbook, The Eagle’s Nest.
AP Language and Composition Free Response Scorer
- Each summer, I am employed by ETS to score free response essays for the AP Language and Composition exam.

- Responsible for attending ELA district leadership meetings.

- I earned my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from USC.
- I earned my Masters in Educational Leadership from USC. This will enable me to become an administrator.
- I earned my national teaching certification in 2006. I renewed this certificate in 2016.
- I earned my Masters in Educational Technology from USC.
- I earned my state teaching certification in English from the College of Charleston.
- I earned my English degree from the College of Charleston.

- I earned certification to evaluate educators using the SCTS 4.0 Rubric.
- I earned certification to teach AP Capstone Seminar from Gaucher College in July of 2017.
- I became trained by the CCL in order to more effectively infuse leadership skills into the CHS ALA program.
- I was selected by my peers to represent them on FAC and SIC as the Teacher of the Year.
- I became trained as an official Data Team trainer through the Leadership and Learning Center.
- I am a part of the HSTW integration process. I was also part of a team who presented at the 2012 HSTW conference (Beyond Angry Birds: Using the iPad as an Instructional Tool).
- I earned state certification to teach AP Literature and Composition from USC Aiken in the summer of 2006. I earned certification from the College Board in 2007.
- I earned state certification to teach AP Language and Composition in the summer of 2005 through a program offered through our district. I earned certification from the College Board in 2007.
